Mahindra & Mahindra has been blessing Indian car market since decades with myriad SUV options. With number of SUVs offered in market, M&M in true sense rules the off-roads in India. Among these vehicles one name is Mahindra Bolero, which with its rough body and sturdiness, has left behind all other competing MUVs. However, it has become little costlier to own Bolero with the company announcing revised prices from January, 2013.
The new Bolero has tons of changes that include:-
- Hawk-eye headlamps
- Honeycomb Mesh Grille
- New Sturdy and Broader Front Bumpers
- Stylish, Sporty and Luxurious Interiors
- Digital Instrument Cluster
- Ergonomic and Newly Designed Leather covered Steering Wheel
- Voice Messaging System
- New Encrypted Key Recognition System
- Micro Hybrid System
- Wooded-finish central console
- Keyless Entry
The powerful Bolero is adorned with a new 2523 CC m2DiCR engine, which can generate a maximum power of 46.3 kW at 3200 rpm and peak torque of 195 Nm at 1400-2200 rpm. The engine is mated to 5-speed manual transmission. The hydraulic clutch and smooth gear shifting makes Bolero all the more flawless and efficient in its performance. Even the massive ground clearance of 180 mm extends the vehicle’s power to confront tough terrains.
The ergonomically designed Bolero can be taken home by paying just between around Rs. 5.65 lakh to 7.26 lakh, depending on different variants as per choice.
