Review: I don’t know, what people liked in this car. Yes Swift it is, what I am talking about. If someone is going for this, I must say he is mad because of looks only. Else it does not have anything worth the money. I have driven Honda too, and must say, this car does not have quality matched to that car. Inside parts are of low grade. Overall, thumbs down. Engine is bit noisy. Handling is nice but riding quality is very bad. As compared to price, there is actually nothing applaudable in Swift.

Favorite Features: As such nothing, though looks are nice

Suggested Improvements: I think, the car should be slimmer than its bulky shape. Rear leg room and boot space should be increased, and rest, I have said earlier.

Good but not perfect

Review: Hi, I am Mohit from Bangalore. I have read many mixed reviews about Swift and as I have driven this car, i felt to share my views also. The looks of this vehicle are very good, but inside the car, rear seat height is very poor, so for me, the 5’11” person, it is quite hard to sit there. Boot space is also not that much nice. Mileage is very excellent and there is no doubt on gear shifting. There is no ABS In VDi variant, so this is something disappointing. So with high price tag of Swift, if it lacks safety features, I toh won’t go for it. Rest things are ok.

Favorite Features: Looks, mileage and some other comfort features are really nice.

Suggested Improvements: Obviously all the shortcomings mentioned earlier. Besides this, cost is also high, so Maruti should have concern.

Mere Brother ki Car

Review: My brother recently purchased Maruti Swift. We have heard lot about this car and its looks; style forced us to go for it. Though, i myself didn’t drive this car, but I have enjoyed ride in our Swift. So on the part of engine, performance, i can’t comment much. What i can say is the comfort and convenience of car is awesome. And music system is just too good. I turn it on full volume and in that case; it feels like we are on any DJ.As my brother said, the gear shifting is extremely smooth and car is offering good mileage to him. Many other comfort features attract me lot to sit in this car. Overall, I can say, this is perfect family car for us.

Favorite Features: Stereo system, looks, interiors, comfy seats

Suggested Improvements: I am not aware about more facts, so can’t comment on that part.

Love to drive my Swift

Review: Hello friends, this is Nikhil from Delhi. I recently purchased a brand new Maruti Swift. Though I have not driven my car much, yet I want to share my experience in this vehicle. The car looks sportier, younger and trendier. Both headlights and tail lights are beautifully designed, sweeping curve in to the body. Richer in space, Swift increase your joy with very nice Nippon audio system. Engine is doing very good job and gear shifting is soft like butter. Proving the name, performance is simply more Swift. Overall, i love to drive a well-known and bets selling car.

Favorite Features: exteriors designing, Plusher interiors, better handling

Suggested Improvements: There is no bluetooth connectivity, so it should be inculcate there.

The Segment King

Review: Hi this is Shobhit from Jaipur. I own Maruti Swift. The exteriors of my cute hatch are no doubt very beautiful and believe me, when i look at any other swift on road, i feel privileged to be a part of Swift owners. The interiors of this car are very spacious and you can find all the features fulfilling your expectation. 5 people family can very comfortably travel in Swift. Engine’s power and pick up are seriously very nice. And i am getting very decent mileage of 20kmpl on highways and 16.9kmpl on city roads. Swift is the king of segment and obviously it deserves to be; the smooth gear shifting and brilliant ride quality are reasons behind this.

Favorite Features: Do i really need to pick any favourite feature? Man!! The car is lovely in every manner.

Suggested Improvements: I didn’t find till the date. Will comment later

Superb performing car

Review: Hi there, this is Ashfaq Hussain from Ahmadabad. Buying Swift was always on the cards since the time I began thinking to switch from my current Maruti WagonR. After driving WagonR for almost three years I was of the view to go for some premium hatchback car with budget not more than Rs 6 lakh. And the launching of new Swift last year acted as an icing on the cake and immediately booked one for me. A six months waiting period was long for me but the result was sweet and worth waiting. Smart stylish Swift is a good looking car with comfortable interiors and great space. It has got all the necessary features to assist you all along your journey. The performance was the part that satisfied me the most with engine following your orders instantly and the overall mileage was also fabulous.

Favorite Features: Interiors & performance

Suggested Improvements: Braking aspect of the car needs a slight improvement as it struggles during emergency braking.

Maruti Swift - True value for money car

Review: I have just test driven the new Maruti Swift and was planning to buy the same. Before that I would like to put up my views on this hatchback’s test drive experience. Looks of the new Swift are damn good with large clear headlamps and tail lamps. Overall we can say that it is sportier than before. Space and comfort of cabin is slightly better than its previous version with more space in its width. Ride and handling of Maruti premium car are top notch with frugal engine and butter smooth gear switching with great pick up. Braking seems to be slightly below average especially in case of emergency brakes. Mileage as we have heard is an impressive part of Swift with around 17-18 kmpl in city and 20+ on highways with AC on. Finally, Swift can be termed as a recommendable car.

Favorite Features: Its admirable looks, interior space and superior performance.

Suggested Improvements: I think the car is slightly costly as one would expect as per the no. of features installed.

Maruti service is pathetic

Review: I am Dushrath Prasad from Chennai. I bought the new Maruti Swift on 15th November 2011 which was my dream car. I earlier had Hyundai i10 and wanted to slightly up my car level to premium hatch segment. I was pretty excited with its increased space and exciting looks but after hanging in around with new Swift for more than 6 months I noticed a problem in its brakes at low speeds especially during traffic jams when the vehicles are almost crawling. The tyre doesn’t stops at once when half pedal is applied and it seems to roll over for few meters before finally halting. I visited Maruti service center to get it verified but they said that everything is working perfectly. This means that it is a manufacturing defect and on top of it the attitude of the service center was not all satisfactory.

Favorite Features: Looks and interior space.

Suggested Improvements: Braking needs to be checked and after sales service should be improved.

Fantastic car Maruti Swift

Review: Hello, Hargobind Khurana from Chandigarh here. I got the new Swift in December last year and I have gone several miles after that but no problem this car. Very good looking car with smooth running engine. On long drives impressive mileage……….. but brake problem in sudden doing. Size of the car is great and I very much like the seats quality which is very comfortable and luxury. Head and leg don’t touch the front and upper body of the car……great gap. Best in class looks, good mileage, excellent performance, fast engine, no noise & vibration in the car………a very good car. I Loooove the new Maruti Swift diesel..:):):)

Suggested Improvements: No improvement required only amount is more.

Ride like a king with Swift

Review: Hi, I finally bought Maruti Swift lxi after doing thorough study both online and offline on 21st January this year and have been going great since. I completely love this car its styling has been fantabulous and head turner while the interior space have been exceptional with good room to seat five healthy persons at once. Seats are comfortable and engine is also very good. It is quite responsive and acceleration is damn good. Fuel efficiency of the Swift lxi is very impressive with the car giving around 16 – 17 kmpl with AC on in city traffic. Gear shifting is pretty smooth and maneuvering the vehicle in city is a cakewalk in this Maruti car. The car doesn’t feel vibrating as in the older Swift at high speeds thanks to some reduced height which has improved its stability.

Favorite Features: Adorable looks, inside speed and boot space.

Suggested Improvements: Nothings needs to be improvement everything is perfect.

Review: Hi, I am one of the proud owners of the beautiful wonder car, Maruti Swift. Swift impressed me in first appearance as maruti has introduced a fresh look design in any hatchback in India. Not only the design of Maruti Suzuki but also its maintenance cost will also impress you. Low maintenance, good in mileage and awesome in looks makes Maruti Swift a distinct vehicle from its price range. I drive around 15-16 kilometers a day and the mileage this car gives is of 16 to 17 kmpl a day.

Favorite Features: Good looks and low maintenance are the best features of Maruti Swift. The rear seats of Maruti Swift have good space for three people. The gear shift of the car is very smooth and has very good fluidity while changing the vehicle. In addition, swift a good luggage carrying space.

Maruti Swift: Live in style

Review: Good evening every one, I am writing this review with the best of my knowledge and experience with Maruti Swift. I bought Maruti Swift Vxi around 4 years back. I am amazed to notice its performance. The car is still the same what it was when I bought. Powered by 1.2 liter engine, the car owns elegant looks and fine interiors. I personally feel that in the range of 5-6 lakhs, Maruti Swift is the value for money car. Moreover, in terms of maintenance too Maruti Swift has low maintenance cost compared to other available cars in the range of 5-6 lakhs. The sporty appearance like Fiat Mini and luxurious seats make this car presentable and eye-catching. Fuel economy of this car is decent, it gives mileage of 12 kmpl while driving in city and 16 kmpl on highways. Another factor in favour of Maruti Swift is that the car has been on more than 2 months waiting period since its launch in 2005.

Favorite Features: Favourite features of Maruti Swift include efficient braking, power steering, excellent road stability, pleasing music system, superb looks, well built in interiors and power windows. I compliment the car manufactures for their innovative design and features.

Suggested Improvements: I think the car is bestowed with all the features which anyone would appreciate, therefore, I would simply wait for the next generation Maruti Swift which is expected to launch soon.
