More features than any other car in the segment

Review: I am Shalini Sachdeva from Gangtok. I have owned Maruti Suzuki A-Star Zxi for about 2 years now and the past moments have been graceful. I loved its sober looking exterior with innocent appearing headlamps. Interiors are first class with high comfort level and generous front & back legroom. Boot space is though a bit confined but it doesn’t bother me (by the way, who carries baggage to office??). Responsive engine with impressive fuel economy of 17-18 kmpl is an added star to the hatchbacks list of qualities. Features like ABS, Dual airbags, Power windows, Power steering, CD with 4 speakers, Central locking, etc.

Favorite Features: its cabin, fuel economy and list of features.

Suggested Improvements: I don’t any more things need to be corrected.

Review: It’s been one year since I am driving Maruti Suzuki A-Star Vxi automatic car. Though the car is not so bad, but I would not recommend this to anyone. Exteriors are cool but the car lacks boot space .Rear seat space is also less making passengers uncomfortable. Seat covers are not good. Music system is fixed in the car but it lacks USB port, so I needed to fix it separately. I feel, there is some problem with fuel level indicator. It put me in troubles many times and I had to get petrol cans and fill manually.

Favorite Features: Mileage, Maruti service and seat height adjustment

Suggested Improvements: Boot and rear space should be increased. Besides this, fuel level indicator needs proper checking.

A-Star with five star interiors

Review: I am Sikandar Ali from Faridabad. It has been around a year since I bought the Maruti Suzuki A-Star VXi automatic. The experience has been positive. The hatchback is superb while driving and offers complete satisfaction. The best part which I loved in A-Star is its plush interiors that offer sumptuous space and good level of comfort. Features offered in this price are also commendable. Engine is agile and has very low level of noise intruding in the cabin. Suspension combination of the car provides superb comfort and engulfs small potholes with ease and less convenience.

Favorite Features: Interiors and its refined engine.

Suggested Improvements: Maruti should work on the exterior part to make A-Star a catchy car

Review: This is Manjeet Kaur from Jalandar, Punjab. Being a working woman I needed a vehicle which should be sweet to look at and should have comfortable interiors just like my home. After discussing with my hubby and friends I chose to buy Maruti Suzuki A-Star Vxi version. Believe this is the best small car I have ever sat in. Comfort is of top quality and everything has got that upmarket look. Even the dashboard is unconventionally designed but you soon get become familiar with it. Power of A-Star is also good and there are host of features provided in this Maruti hatch. Sober looks of A-Star provides it with foreign car appearance. Overall mileage is also decent at 17.5 kmpl in city. Maruti dealers in our area have also been nice to help me out in minor issues. Loved Maruti Loved A-Star.

Favorite Features: Interior decoration, space and comfortable seats.

Suggested Improvements: I think the color range of Maruti A-Star should include the exciting vibrant colors found in Tata Nano.

Maruti A-star : Very conjusted and very ugly in looks

Review: Dear friends this is Abhinav Shivalkar from Pune, Maharastra. I bought Maruti A-star Vxi 10 months back. Since then, my experience with the car has been pathetic. Although, the performance of the car is appreciable but, the looks and interiors of the car are very congested. The rear seat shoulder space of the car is less, therefore, the rear seat of the car cannot accommodate 3 passengers. I think that Hyundai i10 could have been a better option than Maruti A-star. .

Favorite Features: Fuel economy of the car is the value for money factor for purchasing this car. Also, A-star is blessed with powerful braking and efficient power steering. Else, I dont find any interesting feature in the car.

Suggested Improvements: When you drive the car above 115 kmph speedmark, the vehicle looses its control, therefore, the company needs to increase its kerb weight to increase its stability and control. Driver seat is very congested which shatters the driving pleasure. Width of the car needs to be increased so that 3 passengers car sit comfortably. The ground clearance of the car is very low and the cars base touched the speedbrakers. Leg-room space of the car is very less, as the wheel base of the car is very less compared to the competing cars. Legs of the person sitting on the rear seat touches the front seats, as the leg-room space of the car is very less.
