Go for it, if you can compromise with safety

Review: This is Rahul and here I want to share my experience of driving Hyundai Verna. I hope, my review will help someone to take this car home. The car is adorned with sober and elegant looks. The car has a lot of interior space, offering big amount of comfort but i don’t think boot space is satisfactory. The fit and finish of interiors can make you fell in love with the car. The quick acceleration and performance of Verna are very good but it might disappoint you on road grip front. The ground clearance is up to mark but power steering is very zippy. Moreover, safety is ensured, but it is not satisfactory as it lacks many features.

Favorite Features: fit and finish of interiors, engine performance

Suggested Improvements: Safety features should have been added in the car. And its road grip also needs to be improved

Comfortable and stylish car

Review: Hello, I am sushant from Alwar. My neighbour is currently driving Hyundai Verna. And it is always nice to look at this car. In fact, the car attracts me each time. Style and elegance of this car is incomparable as it is awesome. I got to know from him more about the car. As he said, comfort is very well arranged in this vehicle and driver cabin is very good. Seating position is nicely done and the car gives clear view of the road. Mileage and pick up, both are very good. Boot space is good and can solve your luggage problem on long journeys. Some of the features like reverse parking assistance and bluetooth and many more make me to take this car to my home also.

Favorite Features: Looks, design, comfort, mileage

Suggested Improvements: Will comment on this part once i take it home

Big time waste

Review: Let me warn you all, if anyone of you wish to buy a Hyundai Verna car. I suggest you all, pls drive the car and experience its irritating rubbing sound every time when you will put the car on gear 1st and 2nd. Otherwise you will regret later for the cabin noise. I think, if you want looks and style m than only go for Fluidic Verna as this doesn’t stay anywhere against the previous Verna. Rear seat is having comfort problem, armrest is hard to middle person can’t sit for the long journey. Mileage is not good and it actually needs to be improved. Apart this, service point are going to disappoint you as the service are very pathetic.

Favorite Features: Except looks and style, there is nothing to be liked.

Suggested Improvements: Rear seat should be comfortable, rest all the changes mentioned above.

Review: HI, this is Suhaan Sharma from Jallandhar. My friend drives Hyundai Verna. So I often notice the car very closely. The looks and style of the car are just awesome, Sporty appearance can attract anyone. Comfort is excellent but sometime, you can feel back pain. And suspension too is up to mark. Some of the nice features like reverse Camera, Bluetooth connectivity, push start/stop button make the car pretty luxurious. Pick up is nice and mileage is the thing where car needs change. It is giving me a mileage of 8.0 in City and 11.0 at Highways.

Favorite Features: AC, steering mounted audio controls and bluetooth and rear-view mirror.

Suggested Improvements: Mileage, mileage and Mileage, it is the prim thing; rest material of engine guard should have seem quality.

Review: Hyundai Verna Fluidic is the car, currently I am driving. The looks and style, no one can compare. It’s really awesome. Comfort is no doubt on swing. Driver cabin is nice. Shaped like a sports car Verna gives a very good view of the road. Amazing pickup and excellent mileage, I have driven 2000 kms and getting 18-19 on highways 20-22 easily. Host of features are there , which actually made me to purchase this car. Engine noise is very minimal. Some of the features like 6 gears manual, reverse parking assistance and bluetooth make this car ideal for long drive. Boot space is good and you can put loads of luggage. Overall, it is my love.

Favorite Features: great style, comfort, mileage, pickup

Suggested Improvements: I think, there should b more effective road clearance otherwise you might hit to speed bumper hidden from view.

Rapid struggles compared to Hyundai Verna

Review: I am Jagannath Arora from Odissa. I was planning to buy a sedan in the price range of Rs 7-10 lakh. I took the test drive of Hyundai Verna, Honda City, Volkswagen Vento and Skoda Rapid and finally decided to go with Hyundai Verna. Lack of features and compressed rear space makes a very good car just an ordinary one. Ride quality and handling is, no doubt, superb and best in its segment but rear end seems to be lacking the sufficient space for the comfortable seating of fifth passenger. Features like USB port and steering mounted controls are a set back for a company of the caliber of Skoda. On the contrary, Verna is fully loaded with safety as well as comfort and convenience features and has got enough space as well. Skoda you have tried well to keep the cost competitive but missed on the key points.

Favorite Features: Looks and drivability

Suggested Improvements: I think mileage of Skoda Rapid also needs to be improved along with the installation of the features mentioned in the review text column.

Review: Hi buddies, I am Karan Jaiswal from Lucknow. I feel that my stars are going really well as all my decisions have made me happier with their results. Take the example of Hyundai Verna, when I was researching to buy a sedan under Rs 10 lakh mark I was told by my friends and colleges to go for Honda City or Volkswagen Vento. But I thought buying City means that you are prone to petrol issues and Vento on the other hand had less features. I finally made up my mind to opt for Hyundai Verna 1.4 diesel EX version and thank god I am quite relived to have done so. The sedan has got great looks, comfortable and roomy cabin with adorable upholstery. Everything is effortlessly placed at right areas and for added convenience of the user the long list of cool gadgets is always there.

Favorite Features: I liked the looks and space of Verna.

Suggested Improvements: I think the engine is slightly less responsive and in long runs it seems to die out.

Hyundai Verna : Good Car with less safety features.

Review: Hi friends, I am Mehul from Jaipur, Rajasthan. I saw your review, I think that the reviews on your sites are very helpful for opting a good car. Similarly, I am also posting my expertise and experience with my beloved Hyundai Verna and I hope this review will give you a real and broader view of advantages and disadvantages of Hyundai Verna Transform. Blessed with sober looks, Hyundai Verna Transform has ample of interior space but the boot space is of 352 liters only. The acceleration of Hyundai Verna Transform is good but the road grip is very poor which reminds me of my previous car Tata Manza. If you are planning to purchase the car you can go ahead but the only set back with the car is its poor safety standards.

Favorite Features: You will love the fit and finish of interiors of Hyundai Verna Transform. Hydraulic power steering is very zippy which gives a low turning radius to the car. The ground clearance of the car is sufficient to meet the Indian conditions and drive in terrain regions.

Suggested Improvements: Hyundai Verna lacks safety features of saloon. The body shell of the car is very weak which does not meet the sedan requirements. Recently, they have brought in a new variant but this time too they have compromised with the quality and standards with the body shell. The rear trunk space of the car is less as compared to cars like Chevrolet Optra Magnum, Fiat Linea and Tata Manza.
