Review: Recently I got a chance to get hands-on my friend’s Tata Sumo Gold CX BSIII. I was surprised by the performance of the car. Pick up of the car is awesome. On mileage front, car makes you happy by delivering 15 kmpl on highways. Comfort is fully arranged with the seating capacity of 7-8 passengers. Redefined exteriors, better fuel economy and comfy interior are points to take this car home but on downside note, there is a space for improvements as the car lacks some of the safety and security features. Anti-lock System with Electronic Brake-force Distribution and airbags are not available in the car. Overall, the car gives satisfactory performance on Indian terrains.

Favorite Features: I like redefined exterior and comfortable interior of the car.

Suggested Improvements: on safety and security note, the car needs major changes.

Review: Hi, I am Tanish from Lucknow. Few months back my brother purchased Tata Sumo Gold EX car. I always wanted an MUV with all the safety and security features decorated in it but this car still needs improvement on this front. Though rest all features are nice in the car, but as safety was my priority, I don’t like this car. Comfort is provided adequately in the car with optimum features like an effective air-conditioning system with heater, demister, power windows and tinted glass. For me personally, looks are not so appealing. Overall, I don’t like this car and rarely drive it.

Favorite Features: car has good ground clearance that makes it completely appropriate for Indian terrains. In addition to this, it is fairly priced that suits budget of most of the people.

Suggested Improvements: as I am very much concerned for safety and security features, Tata should improve that part in the car.

Tata Sumo a big headache

Review: I bought Tata Sumo Victa around 1 and a half year back, I enjoyed the ride for intial 6 months and after that things became worst. My car was once jammed in a remote area and I had to w8 for a whole day to get it checked, I dont know this happed but it was very bad experience. Though, the ride of the car was very good but the service cost is very high compared to Mahindra Scorpio. The grip of the car is strong but features are very less. Maintenance cost should be curtailed so that people who are looking to buy some other car can buy this car or extra accesories should be given or company can extend the warranty period of this car.

Suggested Improvements: More features should be added in Tata Sumo Victa to make it a beauty car and its looks should be changed coz from its looks the car looks very ugly. Sunroof or moonroof should be added.

Tata Sumo, best MUV to buy

Review: Hi all, I am Chirayu from Pune, Maharashtra. I posses Tata Sumo Victa SE plus model. I bought it around 2 years back and I am happy with its pleasing performance. The car is very good in terms of power, pick up and acceleration. Though the features in Tata Sumo are less but its immense driving pleasure gives you a premium SUV experience. I use this MUV for commercial purposes and till now I have never come across any sort of break down while traveling on long tours. Most often the vehicle is driven by my driver and he too says that Tata Sumo is much better than any other MPV available.

Favorite Features: Features are not much in the car, but yes, its suspensions and sufficient ground clearance is enough to beat uneven terrains and crossing marshy streets. The gripping of Tata Sumo Victa is also excellent , the vehicle does not loose its grip like Chevrolet Tavera. I personally feel that in the range of 5-6 lakhs none other MUV will offer you such a pleasing ride.

Suggested Improvements: The features of Tata Sumo Victa are very less and to make in more demanding, the automobile company, Tata motors will have to bring in a refined line up of Tata Sumo which should be bestowed with the features like ABS with EBD, Height adjustable driver seat, Central locking, Automatic transmission and Airbags.

Review: Hi, I have Tata SUMO which is a very good car and is loaded with a powerful engine of 2.2 liter. The pick up and acceleration of Tata Sumo is very good and can be driven easily. From interiors Tata SUMO is like heaven on earth as the seats have a good fabric upholstery with excellent quality seats. I drive it regularly and its almost a long tenure of 2-3 months since I bought it and the results are consistent. It delivers mileage of 12 kmpl and has sufficient space. You can accommodate 8 passengers comfortably in Tata Sumo.

Favorite Features: Favorite Features of Tata Sumo are its interior comforts, good mileage and good handling which makes the driving easier.

Suggested Improvements: Features like airbags, power steering, power windows, anti-lock braking system, central locking and many other features. Also in looks sumo does not appears as good as cars like xylo and bolero so this should be improved.

Get frustrated from Tata SUMO

Review: My passion is to test drive different different vehicle and post true and honest reviews so that people get actual screening of what the car is all about. This time I am back with my expertise about Tata SUMO. Tata SUMO is the car which gives nothing to you and sucks your money. High maintenance and low mileage are the symbols of this car. I drove for around 8-9 kms and the vehicle consumed more than a year. Driving Tata SUMO will be full of frustration as there are no features in it and the seats are like truck seats without any comfort. Interiors of this car are very ugly.

Favorite Features: There is nothing to speak high of Tata Sumo as it lacs basic utility features as well.

Suggested Improvements: The mileage of SUMO is inefficient so a new TDCi engine needs to be built in the car so as to increase its mileage and also it would help it to overcome its high engine noise problem.
