Wants a little more

Review: Skoda Fabia, a cute hatch but if you say it sedan, it won’t be wrong. It is nice car overall, though price is on high note. But keeping in mind, Skoda brand and features available in Fabia, there is no harm to pay much. Manouverablity while driving and fuel economy makes Fabia a very good car, though its engine noise can put you off. Ride quality and handling both are very nice and I am very satisfied with the performance of Fabia, however after sales cervices are very pathetic and this sometime make me hate the Skoda Brand. But as a driving pleasure, I must say, this is just fabulous. And i would surely recommend it despite of few shortfalls.

Favorite Features: Driving pleasure, comfy seats, enough boot space, mileage

Suggested Improvements: After sales services should be improved or company might look upon price factor too.

Supreme design, a premium car

Review: Hi, I am Deepak from Gurgaon. I just want to share my experience about Skoda Fabia. At the first look, the car will make you fall in love. It looks cute as well as muscular. Front grill offers a rich look to this car. Inside the car, the beige interiors look so pretty. Tilt and telescopic steering wheel is nicely put. With good quality materials, interiors are very comfortable and Ac vents make the inside environment very cool. All the passengers’ seats are very comfortable and there you won’t feel any riding quality issue. In fact carrying the super ride quality, acceleration, handling, Fabia is a perfect car for highway driving. I have been having a happy, safe driving till now.

Favorite Features: Safety, Space, build quality, looks, riding, handling, almost everything.

Suggested Improvements: I didn’t find any as such.

Fabulous Fabia

Review: Hi, this is Sumit from Punjab. I am here to write my review on Skoda Fabia. It is very good car with some features like sedan. Carrying a great build quality, Fabia looks very rich and nice. Interiors of Fabia are real pleasure with rear AC vents and parktronic display, computerised displays add to that x-factor. Mileage is another best part; I got around 15 kmpl on highways. The gearshift on the Fabia is smooth as butter making it a delight to drive. It is completely brilliant package. Very positive and light Fabia comes with applaudable safety features and music system. To sum up, it gives me premium feel of having Fabia.

Favorite Features: Good fuel economies, rich interiors, superb build quality, looks.

Suggested Improvements: A bit noisy cabin, so Skoda can look in to this matter.

Luxury—at its best

Review: Recently I purchased a brand new Skoda Fabia 1.2L Diesel Elegance. I wanted a top end model with all special features and this car fulfilled all my expectations. Right from the first look at the car, its style and appearance attract me a lot as it has exceptionally brilliant build quality. The comfort in the car is as good as Sedans. Safety features are first of its kind in the class. The pickup and power of the car are admirable, even on 100 kmph; the car doesn’t make you feel any vibration. With the Audi engine, the car gives decent mileage. Bumper of car is built with solid material that will be helpful in avoiding accident. So with all the luxurious features, I just love this car.

Favorite Features: The comfort level of the car is good and the mileage is also commendable.

Suggested Improvements: Although, I do not find any such improvement, needed in the car, yet, I think price tag should be minimized a bit.

Fabia Scout lacks that instinct of i20 and Figo

Review: I have a Skoda Fabia Scout 1.2 TDI version and have been driving happily since I got the car a couple of weeks back. Everything seems to be okay but in the performance and pick up part of Fabia I think there is something that extra is missing which propels the vehicle to overtake others on the road. Even the ground clearance is low and suspension level is also just ‘OKAY’. No doubt, the car has got fabulous looks and premium tag of Skoda, it lacks the talent to be successful in India where Hyundai i20, Maruti Swift and Ford Figo rule in this segment. Personally thinking, I feel Ford Figo could have been more value for money rather than this Czech beauty. It justifies that all that glitters is not gold. Definitely not in Fabia Scout’s case.

Favorite Features: Premium looking, compact design and comfortable interiors.

Suggested Improvements: Performance needs more tuning, ground clearance needs to be improved and price need to be brought down.

Skoda Fabia Scout 2012

Review: Hi I am Himanshu Sharma from New Delhi. Looking for a hatchback that was unique and less seen on the roads, I went into Skoda outlet to checkout how the new Skoda Fabia Scout looks and feels. I loved the looks and I purchased the same without much analysis and reviews. That negligence got the better of me as the premium looking vehicle is not at all satisfactory especially with its performance. The stiff suspension system and low ground clearance are a problem in this sturdy variant of Fabia also. Being too pricey compared to regular versions, it’s definitely not worth. Just a few add-on features like the roof rails, slightly increased ground clearance, dual tone body, leather seats, power windows and steel control pedals doesn’t seem to be worth that amount of more than Rs 7 lakhs. I regret the deal, maybe I should have gone for the new Hyundai i20 one.

Favorite Features: Looks and its jazzy interiors

Suggested Improvements: Price should be lowered, soft suspension should be fitted and ground clearance should be increased.

Skoda Fabia : Will never buy any skoda car....its damn boring car.

Review: Hi everyone, i am Narayan from Akola, Maharashtra. My experience with Skoda Fabia has been very poor. After 5 months of the car purchase the bottom engine mating came out and this is the first time i have seen any such car compromising with the quality. I think the punch line"Obsessed with quality" does not suit Skoda automajor. I liked the car because of its good interiors and strong build, but I feel that the car is one of the worst hatchbacks, I have experienced through. The trunk space is sufficeint for luggugage carrying purposes but the rear appearance of Fabia is not good at all. Yes, I agree that the driving of fabia is better than swift but its fuel efficiency sucks.

Suggested Improvements: Appearance of the car should be changed. I think that the car has very poor fuel economy therefore, i will suggest them to learn something from their automajor, Volkswagen who have brought in a stylish luxury hatchback, Volkswagen Polo. Moreover, fit and finish of Volkswagen Polo is far better than Skoda Fabia. Features of Skoda Fabia are less as compared to Ford figo. Skoda Fabia sounds more noisy than any SUV, therefore this problem should also be cured. Moreover, the company people should better give the actual facts of Skoda Fabia rather than pushing for sales.

Skoda Fabia : Not as good as Swift

Review: Hi, this review is in regards to those who are looking for a value for money hatchback which avails you a real class experience to its driver. Like other I too became the victim of third class SKODA FABIA. Not only the looks of Skoda Fabia but also its pathetic mileage is the major point of concern. My bro owns a maruti swift and he is more happier than me as he has to pay very little amount for fuel consumption than me. Features are just same in both Skoda Fabia and Maruti Swift but yes if you evaluate the cost of the features amongst both these cars you will see a big difference in the cost of Maruti Swift and Skoda Fabia as Skoda Fabia is more expensive.

Favorite Features: Only in power Skoda Fabia is good else you can buy any other reliable hatchback like Maruti Swift or Hyundai i20. Swift is more reliable and has good fuel efficiency as well also, the acceleration of Swift is much better than Fabia.

Skoda Fabia : Noisy, costly, ugly and useless car

Review: Heylo! everyone, I am Abdul Nazeem from Lucknow, I have Skoda Fabia since 3 months and I think tht I have made a big mistake by chosing this car. The car is very gud in terms of power but its engine noise will make you suffer from headache, after 1 month I went back to the company and I got a pathetic reply from the company people that you can control noise from the installation of engine cover worth Rs. 60000. They did not tell me the same thing when I went for the purchase. At the time of purchase they said that due to new engien the noise is high. The car has nothing special in it but it has comfortable seats. The driver seat comfort is pleasing and has good leg space.

Favorite Features: Fabia does not have any special feature for which i can complement it.

Suggested Improvements: Skoda needs to low down the engine noise which, I think is a major issue with the car. The need to add on some features could add on its prevailing image in the market. Cost of the car is nominal but its pathetic service network can divert anyone's mind. Also, the service cost is very high as compared to cars like Hyundai i20 and Maruti Swift. I think that Volkswagen Polo could have been a better option than Skoda Fabia. Looks of the car are very ugly so i think that Skoda should change its exterior appearance.

Skoda Fabia : Best in quality but compromised in looks

Review: Hi, I am Dilip Bharadwaj and I regularly surf you website for catching up the latest updates of ‘auto bazaar’. I have a small car, Skoda Fabia which is a good car to handle. Most often my drives it and she said that the driving of Skoda is easy like her previous vehicle Hyundai Santro Xing. Fuel consumption when I drive it is somewhere around 11-12 km/l. The height is also good and your head would not tough the roof whatever your height is. The only problem I have with the vehicle is its nasty appearance which looks outdated.

Favorite Features: Skoda Fabia has all time hit…….music system which gives you a theatre feel. Good carriage space in the lobby of the car. The framing of Skoda Fabia is very strong, you can realize the durability of the car when you lift up the bumper cover, which is made of a heavy metal sheet.

Review: Hello ! This is Rohit Agarwal from Jalgaon, India. I own Skoda Fabia ambiente model which is really a fantastic. People say that the mileage of this car is very poor but I deny their stats, don’t know how they drive, I am getting mileage of 14 kmpl from my Fabian 1.2 petrol which is almost similar to maruti hatchbacks. You get comfortable interiors and good power engine with great fuel efficiency what else can you demand in 6 lacs.

Favorite Features: Every thing of utility is available in my car like power steering, power windows, AC, central locking, metallic colored body and anti rust coating beneath the car base, so overall I find Skoda FABia as a FABulous car.

Suggested Improvements: The dealership are very few for Skoda which is a big problem for me though Skoda servicings available in every two months but if there would be an established Skoda Centre here in Jalagaon then it would be very easy for me get the servicing done.
