Maruti Alto

The crown of being the largest selling car in India has been worn by Maruti Alto since a long time as it is one of those popular city commuters that the middle-class car buyers of the country pick to buy. Though long waiting period due to production shut down hampered Swift’s sales but it has classy and sporty outfit with pleasing interiors and exciting range of features that makes it one of the best available two-boxes in the domestic market. Also, the resale value of this car has increased a lot in past couple of years due to the whelming response and positive feedback from the patrons.

Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire

Another smart product from Maruti, Dzire makes its place in top 3 in terms of sales. Despite being a compact saloon, Swift Dzire has accredited more numbers of buyers than its rivals and with the introduction of 2012 model of said car in February, the sales have only multiplied. A good fuel economy supported by low maintenance and high level comforts make Dzire a value for money road runner.

Maruti Wagon R

  Again the next name from Maruti’s family. With a list of titles received from customers, Maruti Wagon R grabs 4th position in the list of most selling cars in India. Incepted in December 1999 in India, Maruti Wagon R with its phenomenal fuel efficiency of 14 – 18 kmpl and practicality became hot favourite among Indian middle class families. Like the top seller Maruti Alto, the buyers of Maruti Wagon R also bear lesser maintenance cost. Moreover, the after sales service and outlet network of Maruti Suzuki is another supporting factor in making Maruti Wagon R fourth best sold product in the auto-industry.

Mahindra Bolero

A good performer in semi-urban markets, Mahindra Bolero has managed to stay at number 5th position. The rough body and sturdiness of Bolero make it supreme among other competing MUVs. Moreover the massive ground clearance of 180 mm extends the vehicle’s power to confront tough terrains and offer the vehicle a position in top 5 most selling cars In India.
