Volkswagen, the renowned German car maker and world’s third largest automobile manufacturer, announced the special launch of its premium car Vento for Indian Premier League, priced at Rs 7.24-lakh (Ex-Showroom, New Delhi).
Luxury brand Volkswagen has been declared as the official partner for the fourth and the fifth season of Indian Premier League cricket tournament.
The new IPL edition Vento is grounded on the 1.6-litre petrol engine and comes beautifully crafted with IPL logo on the boot and seats. Even there is a state-of-the-art color touch screen multimedia player embedded in the Vento with plush leatherette seats and few great branded accessories. The Vento edition will go on sale from first week of April at the company’s 70 dealerships.
Volkswagen India’s Director Mr. Neeraj Garg, told reporters, “The Vento was specially designed for the Indian customer and has become very popular since its launch last September, and is, hence, the perfect choice for an action model for this market.”
He further added in his statement, “The Vento IPL edition adds to our existing line-up as we continue to strive to give our customers innovations and at the same time value for money in our products.” All new IPL edition of Vento costs Rs 25,000 more than the base Vento.
On this big introductory launch of the Vento IPL Edition, the Director of the company exclaimed, “Volkswagen will give all its Vento IPL edition customers an apt gift of a cricket kit. The IPL edition adds to our existing line-up as we continue to strive to give our customers innovations. IPL stands for the people’s game in India and what better way to associate our brand which literally means people’s car.”
