Toyota Introduces Its Brand New Thought ‘Waku Doki’

Toyota India has initiated a campaign to bring in some spice and fun in the market with the introduction of its brand new thought ‘Waku Doki’. The new multi-media campaign targets the youth of the country and it is a creative venture conceptualized by Percept H.

The new and very interesting concept from Toyota showcases the brand’s new promise, ‘Toyota will make your heart go Waku Doki’, where the word Waku Doki means ‘heightened anticipation and excited heart thumping’.

The new multi-media campaign is introduced by famous cricketer Virat Kohli, who is also the new brand ambassador for the brand. The campaign focuses on conveying brand’s promise of offering its youthful customers a product that gives excitement and liveliness through various activities. The new venture also invites people to share their real life experiences or their ‘Waku Doki’ moments.

The campaign basically exhibits an individual’s feelings such as heartbeats, adrenaline rush, thrilling excitement and exhilaration while experiencing any Waku Doki moments and the way to connect to brand name Toyota.

Expressing about company’s new ‘Waku Doki’ thought, deputy managing director at Toyota Kirloskar Motor, Mr. Sandeep Singh remarked, “Waku Doki is a Japanese phrase and it is a short form of ‘Waku Waku Doki Doki’, which literally means ‘heightened anticipation and excited heart thumping’. Through this new idea ‘Waku Doki’ we are attempting to convey to the nation the thrill, fun and excitement in individual’s daily lives.”
