Tata Motors shines with Tata Nano sales

The leading Indian car maker, Tata Motors is expecting the Nano sales of 10,000 units per month in upcoming one year, which will be 233 percent more than its current sales. Prashant M Telang, the managing director of Tata Motors India stated that with the arrival festive season the increase in demand of Tata Nano has been exemplary. He added that the company is confident enough that the monthly sales would move up to 10,000 units by the end of 2012.

On an average, the current wholesale of Tata Nano have been 2800 – 3000 units per month. Wholesale includes the total number of units disposed by the company to its dealers. At the time of festive season, sales of Tata Nano increased smashingly. According to a local Tata Motors dealer in Mumbai, the sales of Tata Nano in October mount up to 10,000 units while, in September the sales were 9000 units, which has maintained a free flow of vehicle disposal both from the company’s as well as the dealer’s end.

Tata Motors availed the Nano buyers with attractive finance schemes at the time when the crucial market scenario made the finance institutions to increase the auto interest rates, which led the auto-maker to sell this cheapest car in a good number in domestic market. Tata Motors is expecting to get more sales from the rural market that will be a key player to increase its sales stats. Tata Motors is looking forward to launch the new 2012 Nano which will have raised interiors and outfit.
