Tata Motors optimistic about new Sumo Gold launch

Tata Motors, India’s renowned auto brand, is expecting their recently unveiled Tata Sumo Gold to boost sales of the company. A report published in Business Standard states that the company is confident about its latest offering Tata Sumo Gold to touch the sales figures of 18000 units in the remaining months of this fiscal. For the time being, company is eying sub urban, rural including towns, villages, etc and the taxi market.

Ashesh Dhar, Head- Tata Motors (Utility Vehicles) said that the company has presently launched their Sumo Gold in four markets Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra and West Bengal as a part of their marketing policy. With the launch of new Tata Sumo Gold the sales of Sumo have risen from the previous 1,100 units to 3,300 units per month. He further said that the company is sure that the vehicle will notch the figure of 18,000 units and overall the Sumo family is expected to cross 24,000 units by this fiscal end.

As confirmed in the statement that the all new Tata Sumo Gold has been launched in the state of Punjab. Dhar said that the new Sumo Gold was a product made after thorough research considering customer needs and an array of tests.

Currently, Tata Sumo Gold is available in four variants GX, EX, LX & CX and has a price starting from Rs 5.35 lakh (ex-showroom Chandigarh). You also get 3 years or 100,000 km of warranty along with the SUV.
