Skoda Auto India has introduced an all-new version of its popular car Fabia regarded as Skoda Fabia Scout at a starting price tag of Rs. 6.79 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). However the diesel engine variant if priced bit higher at Rs. 8.10 lakh.
The fantastic Fabia Scout hatchback has come with major types of cosmetic alterations, making the vehicle appear more stylish and aggressive. But most importantly the valuable changes are offered only to the body kit sidelining the ground clearance or off road ability in the old Fabia model.
So the new Fabia Scout boasts additional peripheral body cladding, front bumper spoiler, rear bumper diffuser and projector-beam headlamps, which were missing on the previous model. With refreshed interiors, the vehicle shows off new stainless steel pedals, new leather seats and stylized door sill along with integrated audio player, power windows, remote locking, tinted glasses and dual airbags as standard additions. What makes the new variant stand exclusive in the market is its superb handling and tough quality crafting.
The Fabia Scout comes engrafted with 1.2 liter MPI 3-cylinder petrol engine that is capable enough to deliver a good power of 75bhp and peak torque of 110Nm whereas the other option to opt for is 1.2 liter TDI CR diesel turbo-charged 3-cylinder engine offering a power output of 75bhp and impressive torque of 180Nm. Both the engines come mated with five-speed manual transmission.
