Nissan Motor today joined hands with its long term partner Hover Automotive India Pvt. Ltd (HAI) for the sole distributorship of its cars in India, further strengthening their four-year business relationship with the new agreement.
The recently agreed deal will assist the brand in accelerating its growth in the country shores along with hike in sales in the local market. This will also support in implementing correct market strategy created along with the opening of new customer touch points across the nation.
Nissan is aspiring to strongly craft its footsteps in the Indian automobile industry and the new move will definitely assist the brand in making the presence felt. The Japanese automaker has attained good success in the domestic market with its two popular cars – hatchback Micra and sedan Sunny, rolled out from company’s Oragadam plant near Chennai.
As per the terms of signed up agreement, HAI will be responsible for entire sales and marketing, customer relations, dealer development, sales and marketing related public relations, training and after sales service in India as sole distributor for Nissan. Hover India will independently handle the exclusive distribution for Nissan Motor India.
And the domestic unit of Nissan, Nissan Motor India Private Limited (NMIPL) will continue to handle overall business management of the brand in the country. It will be responsible for controlling the corporate planning affairs, external affairs, export management product planning, customer satisfaction, corporate communications, finance, component development, vehicle and service parts logistics etc.
