And to grab this opportunity luxury carmaker Mercedes-Benz is planning to launch its revamped Mercedes-Benz B-Class in Indian market. The all new car will make its debut here in the month of either September or October this year and is likely to fall in Rs 25 lakh price bracket.
Recently caught in cameras at the Buddh International Circuit, the soon to be launched Mercedes B-Class due to its indisputable on-road potentialities and extra dimensional capacities is being tagged with the title “for everything that lies ahead” and has been boasted as an automobile in the Sports Tourer section.
The new generation Mercedes-Benz B-Class was unveiled by Mr. Peter Honegg, Managing Director and chief executive officer, Mercedes-Benz India in the company of Mr. Debashis Mitra, Director, Sales & Marketing, Mercedes-Benz India and Bollywood’s recently married charming couple Ritesh Deshmukh and Genelia D’ Souza. The revelation ceremony of this luxury car was escorted by a first-drive practice for the media people in the region of the Buddh International Circuit.
Addressing media persons, Peter Honegg reportedly quoted that it is a very exciting period for the company as it is going to launch its first product in Indian Sports Tourer section with the B-Class. With the impressive performance and enormous capacities, the novel B-Class will truly cater the needs of escalating numbers of Sports Touring buff in India, he added.
According to Mr. Debashis Mitra, this new car is well matched with the flavour of rising fanism towards Sports Touring in Indian market and will surely offer the greatest intensity of active experience. It is ornamented with an aviation-inspired dashboard design, active 7G DCT gear case and vastly stylish trims and tools which depict the high spots of the car.
In order to gain high customers attention, the company is very much concerned for its marketing plans. On one hand where MTV Rising Stars competition targeted at nation’s youth has already started, other side the company has created an internet based sports travelling rivalry christened as the “Ultimate Touring trail” (UTT) with Bollywood celebs including Gaurav Kapoor, Genelia D’Souza along with Ritesh Deshmukh.
The company will initially offer this Sports Tourer with a wide range of petrol engines and will gradually think about boasting diesel engine in the car.
