This 2012 at Delhi Auto Expo, Indian auto market prince Maruti Suzuki will debut in the sub 800cc segment by introducing two brand new small cars in the country. The automaker is already busy in the operations of the two cars in Japan and will undrape them at approaching Delhi Auto Expo in January.
Speculated to be powered with Suzuki’s smallest engine manufactured till date, the cars are addressed as Palette and MR Wagon. Both sub 800cc category vehicles will capture the attention of all at the Indian auto expo and atleast one model will hit the country shores in next two to three years, remarked by industry sources.
The auto giant will place the new crafting above entry level and current bestseller 800cc powered Maruti Alto, although the vehicles will be blessed with 660cc petrol engines, they will not compete with the current cheapest car of the country – the Tata Nano, which sports a price tag of Rs. 1.53 lakh and is powered with a 624cc engine.
The fresh new cars from Maruti Suzuki are expected to offer some classy interiors and improved height with roomy structure and attractive additional features to offer an exquisite appeal to customers looking for something unique from the market leader.
