Country’s largest auto manufacturer Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) is planning a promotional campaign for its Kizashi model with an aim to shine brighter in luxury segment as well. Though the brand is enjoying a fantastic position by being a part of world’s fastest growing automotive markets but still it needs to adhere accordingly in the premium auto segments.
This promotional campaign for Maruti Kizashi is a formal proclamation that Maruti is making its benign presence in luxury auto section. The brand will be kicking-off an advertisement campaign for Kizashi and it will be aired on 8th March with the ongoing cricket World Cup matches. According to industry officials, Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) is likely to spend a sizeable amount of Rs 8 crore for the Kizashi promotional campaign, out of which about 5 to 7 crore rupees will alone be used for television commercials.
The MSI Chief General Manager (Marketing) Mr. Shashank Srivastava was reluctant to reveal any ad spends but confirmed that their telecasting will aired from next week. He said, “The TV ad for Kizashi will be on air on March 8 during the world cup cricket match telecast. It will be a completely product-focused one and it doesn’t have a storyline.”
The main intention behind this promotional campaign is to showcase Kizashi’s luxurious and sporty features. “A special camera, known as the Phantom camera with 2,000 frames per second has been used to deliver the desired visual effects,” Mr. Srivastava added.
