To capture the progressing luxury auto market of India, BMW is all ready to unveil its 3 Series sedan on the 3^rd of August and this new model is quite significant for the German giant. The latest offering from the BMW’s 3 series range, the sedan is all the more huge both in terms of exterior and interior.

Now the competition is getting extremely close and Audi is aggressively aiming to get to the top after dismissing Mercedes-Benz from its second position. Now BMW has to play very safe in order to safeguard its position from compatriot Audi and the new F30 3-Series sedan is a key model for the brand to face tough contest.

Gradually Audi is getting very close to BMW’s level of market reputation and to enhance the space between the two rivals, BMW India has planned F30 3 Series for the market. The new sedan is all the more exquisite and spacious than its predecessor along with major updates in the cabins as well.

The stylized F30 3 Series has even acclaimed better panache at the rear as well as front, offering the car a slight similarity to F10 5 Series sedan. So, the new launch has basically acclaimed the designing quality of F10 5 Series sedan and the F30 3 Series showcases its family cuts, reflecting the luxury in its own sense.

Coming via CKD kits, the 3-Series sedan will be assembled at BMW India’s Chennai plant. As of now the German carmaker has planned to bring the vehicle with diesel version only, but petrol variant will follow soon. The 2012 F30 3 Series will gain its efficiency from very effective 2 liter 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine, capable of churning out 184bhp power and 380Nm torque. The engine will come twinned with six-speed manual transmission and an eight-speed automatic gearbox. The sedan will strike the 0-100kmph distance in mere 7.5 seconds with top speed of 235kmph.

With rigorous marketing activities going on across the nation in many major cities, BMW India is aiming to tap all the potential customers with its new 2012 F30 3 Series.
