Mahindra First Choice Aims to Sell One Lakh Used Cars By 2015

The largest multi-brand used car firm of India, Mahindra First Choice Wheels is aiming to expand its arms in the nation and along with this the brand has a set target of selling one lakh used cars by 2015. Also the company has planned to sell 45,000 units by the end of current financial year, mentioned by a senior official from the company.

The Vice-President – Operations & Network at Mahindra First Choice Wheels Ltd, Mr. Yatin Chadha stated, “We are aiming to make a good business in coming time by selling 45,000 used cars by the end of this fiscal, registering a progressive growth of 35% in contrast to last FY. Later by 2015, our target is to roll out one lakh cars.”

With 25% sales growth, in the last financial year company sold 34,000 units of its second hand cars.

The Zonal Manager East, Mr. Debdut Bagchi said, “In the eastern zone we’ve got the target to sell 5,000 cars by the end of this FY, posting a growth hike of around 60% over the last fiscal. We will even extend our network from current 45 outlets to 50 dealerships in the near future.”

As per reports, Mahindra First Choice Wheels owns 11% market share in the pre-owned car market and the company mentioned that around 70% of its sales are gained from vehicles, which are two to four years old.
