Jaguar XJ-L SuperSport Launched In India

The British subsidiary of Indian auto giant Tata Motors Jaguar Cars – has launched its latest XJ-L variant in the Indian market. The new XJ-L model will be fighting for space with the likes of recently launched Audi R8, Mercedes Benz S-Class and BMW 7-Series. The launch of Jaguar XJ-L is expected to further raise the competition in the super-luxury car segment in the Indian market.

The Jaguar XJ-L has been rolled-out in two engine options including a 3.0 liter diesel power-train and a high powered 5.0 liter supercharged petrol engine. While the diesel version is capable of delivering a peak power of 275 PS, the supercharged Super Sport variant is capable of delivering a maximum power of 510 PS.

The company has priced the base model of XJ-L series – Jaguar XJ-L 3.0L – at Rs 77 lakhs (ex-showroom New Delhi). An optional diesel variant featured with rear seat entertainment package, has also been offered at Rs 85 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).

On the other hand, the XJ-L 5.0 Supercharged SuperSport model has been offered with a price tag of Rs 1.11 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi) that comes featured with an entertainment package as an standard feature.
