Luxury, class and look, is what defines the new XJ Ultimate, recently introduced by Jaguar at the Beijing Motor Show. The flagship XJ model truly represented the brand’s name in from of artistic designing, lightweight aluminum architecture and worthy performance. And the same is now further well-defined with all-new XJ Ultimate that perfectly presents Jaguar’s hallmark of innovation and luxury.
With awesome combination of business and leisure, the XJ Ultimate comes with full-length, leather-trimmed centre console, splitting up the two distinctly tailored rear seats flaunting power adjustment, ventilation, massage and lumbar functions. The vehicle offers a rear business table, machined from solid aluminum with piano-black and chrome detailing. It springs up from the centre console with just a push of a button offering a working board with two third-generation iPads and wireless keyboards, safely placed in leather-trimmed docks behind the front seats.
The ride becomes all the more pleasurable with a champagne chiller between the rear seats along with twin headrest screens and wireless headphones. The musical experience is heightened with a fantastic 20 speaker surround sound in-car entertainment system developed by Meridian. The XJ Ultimate steals its power from Jaguar’s existing 5.0 liter V8 supercharged engine and the 3.0 liter V6 turboc diesel along with new 3.0 liter V6 supercharged petrol engine, all twinned with eight-speed transmission.
Tata Motor’s owned Jaguar is planning to bring the XJ Ultimate to India by end of 2012 but still company has not officially announced the plans along with pricing and powertrains.
