India’s second largest automobile company Hyundai Motors from Korea is planning to unveil its most anticipated small car of 800cc in India during the month of November 2011 as the vehicle is in its final testing phase.
The car is code named as H800 and previously it was expected to be launched by year 2012. But as per sources after the car entered into the final test-run phase, Hyundai’s newly crafted vehicle is almost ready to hit the shores this year itself.
Though the design and technological details about the car are yet to be disclosed by the company but a an official from the firm said that this new compact car from Hyundai will be a fuel efficient car and will consume less petrol as compared to their running rivals. It’s believed that Hyundai plans to position the new vehicle in the small car segment to compete with Maruti Alto.
With this new launch Hyundai aims to rule the small car segment by grabbing the position, which is currently possessed by Maruti’s best selling small car – Alto.
