New Honda Accord To Be Launched In India Next Month

The Indian unit of Japan based leading car maker Honda is all set to launch the new generation of its luxury sedan Accord in the Indian market in February 2011. The new 2011 Honda Accord is basically a minor facelifted version of the existing model of this car. The car is already running on the American roads, where it was launched a few months back.

A number of cosmetic changes have been made in the new generation Accord. It comes blessed with an enhanced exterior with the help of newly-styled rear deck lid, a new front grille and re-styled wheels. While inside the car, the new Honda Accord carries a futuristic instrument panel along with new diver oriented buttons of climate control.

Besides this, it carries an enhanced fuel economy and reduced emission level as compared to the existing model of accord. Same as its predecessor, the new Accord will be available in two engine options including a 2.4L, 4-cylinder engine with peak power of 177 bhp and a 3.5L V6 engine with peak power of 271 bhp. The car will be available with both manual and automatic transmission versions in the Indian market. The current model of Honda Accord is available in the price range of Rs 19,15,500 to Rs 27,68,831 (ex-showroom Mumbai).
