Force Motors to Roll-Out an All New SUV Soon

The Indian auto company with Pune based headquarters, Force Motors is majorly known for producing three wheelers, multi-utility and cross country vehicles, light commercial vehicles, tractors, buses and heavy commercial vehicles. But with Indian auto market progressing speedily, the brand wishes to launch an SUV model soon in India.

Being regarded as manufacturer of utilitarian vehicles, now the company plans to move into a new direction with the launch of its SUV model and aiming to alter the old concept of buyers. Force Motors is quite hopeful about its new entrant and desires that the vehicle will make the brand stand apart in auto market with great success.

With the introduction of its new SUV, Force Motor will step into the passenger car segment for the first time. Still the details of the vehicle are not exposed by the company but it’s been seen testing out on the roads and is expected to be based on Foday Guandong Explorer III Chinese SUV.

After capturing some spy shots of the product it’s evident that it will reveal a boxy shape but the model seems to fall short on style and appeal. Therefore Force Motors’ SUV will surely face difficult time to compete with today’s smart and elegant SUVs. Another one thing cleared is that Force Motors has purchased the auto parts for the body and the interiors are sourced from Thailand adding sturdy mechanics to the vehicle.

Force’s SUV model is said to be powered by the Mercedes OM 611 providing 140bhp and a peak torque of 35kgm through a manual five speed transmission and it will be introduced between a price-range of Rs 10 – 12 lakhs.
