Finally Honda Civic Ready to Say Goodbye

The prominence of Honda Civic finally comes to an end as the automaker decides to grave the model after its six years of popular presence in the country. Eventually this is a wise decision made by the Japanese automaker as people are speedily shifting their preferences to compact SUVs and vehicles with diesel option. One more specific reason that peeps out is the expensive cost label it flaunts. So it is truly better to bid goodbye to older model and craft new version with greater specifications and competitive price tag.

Honda Siel has already stopped the production of its D-segment sedan, the Civic and once the existing stocks get cleared from the dealer’s end, then and there the journey of the car will end. As of now there is no specific time detail about the launch of new 2012 Honda Civic and reports do mention that as of now the automaker has dropped its plans for the same. So currently the Japanese carmaker has set to make the customers wait for the new version.

Also the executive sedan was not able to earn much in terms of appreciation and popularity across the globe. With sales figures showing negativity in graph, Honda did quite right by making the road end for its sedan Civic. Moreover monthly sales count turned pretty shocking when it lastly touched a two-digit figure.

Of course the new 2012 Civic is much awaited by the country but it will surely not make things worth it because diesel versions are greater in demand. But Honda can spice up the entire aura of its portfolio if it plans to bring the 2012 variant of Civic with a diesel engine, making the competition with the rivals super elusive.
