BMW to Soon Introduce Its Luxury Car Lease Facility in India

BMW recently declared that it will soon launch and commence its car leasing facility in India and will be the first luxury automaker to offer the exquisite service. Even rival brand Mercedes Benz announced to introduce the facility of leasing their cars in the country by end of this year.

President of BMW India, Dr Andreas Schaaf mentioned, “We will become the first company to introduce leasing in India.”

When reporters inquired about the time-frame, BMW plans to introduce the leasing in India, Dr Schaaf replied in just two words, “very soon.”

This was pretty shocking because it was Mercedes Benz’s plan to become the first luxury automaker in the domestic market to launch leasing. But Dr Schaaf’s statement changed the entire prediction as he made the announcement about BMW India Leasing service at the BMW xDrive Xperience event happening in Gurgaon.

According to details, customers who are vying to get BMW luxury car can buy them for approximately half its price for a period of 3-4 years. After the lease period is over, the customer can return the car and can lease a new one or they can pay the complete amount to keep the same car. The returned cars will then be sold at BMW’s second hand outlets, which are also in the pipeline and will soon be introduced in India.
