Audi India Posts 98% Rise in July Sales

Audi aiming to be crowned as the ruler in India’s luxury car segment is registering consecutive sales growth locally. And its July sales figures are too worth appreciating with 98% hike making a business by selling 680 cars in last month. During the same month last year, Audi sold 343 units.

From January to July period, the German luxury auto giant sold 4680 cars in the country, recording a growth of 49% in contrast to same period of last when it sold 3145 vehicles.

Audi India Head, Michael Perschke said, “This year is truly worthy for us as each month has experienced growth. So far this year we have made a good business with total of 4680 cars sold, registering sales hike of 49%. The repeated success has made Audi India stand at the number two position in the local luxury car market. Also despite speculations about economic upheavals, we are charging ahead on a well mapped out route towards leadership.”

Further mentioned, the company aims to sell 8000 units this year and it is even confident of achieving the same with increasing desire from customers to own admirable cars from the Audi brand. Mr. Perschke also commented, “I am confident that our robust customer proposition will assist us in meeting set targets yet again this year.”
