Anand Mahindra has taken over as the new Chairperson for Mahindra & Mahindra after Keshub Mahindra announced his retirement from his position of M&M Chairman. After leading Mahindra for over 45 years, Keshub Mahindra finally hanged his boots on 9th August.
Thanking shareholders for their continuous support, he said that it was time to pass on the baton for exploring new possibilities. He said Anand Mahindra’s caliber is not hidden from anyone and he will definitely take company to new heights with technological advancements keeping Mahindra’s core values of ethics, integrity and togetherness intact.
On his farewell AGM meet as a chairman, Keshub signed autographs for company’s shareholders and received their love in the form of gifts. In his marathon run as the chairperson, Keshub Mahindra guided Mahindra from core automobile firm to a major company in diverse fields of IT, financial services, real estate and hospitality.
