The petrol version comes with top speed limit of 179 kmph and can cruise from 0-100 mark in 12.5 second whereas diesel option covers the same slot in 17.4 seconds with highest speed of 149 kmph.
Under the refined hood, Toyota Fortuner attains its capability from 3.0 liter common rail diesel engine with ultra power of 168bhp @ 3600rpm and strong torque of 343Nm @ 1400-3400rpm. Now the new-gen version comes with 2WD alternative as well with one of these powertrains linked to four-speed automatic transmission. Checking out the acceleration level, the fervent Fortuner sprints from 0-100 kmph in 14.5 seconds with top speed of 176 kmph.
