Check the Features wise Comparison of Skoda Rapid,Nissan Sunny and Volkswagen Vento
Skoda is back in news with growing popularity of its Rapid sedan. The three box car offers excellent premium appearance, good comfort level and powerful engine similar to Vento. On the other hand we have Nissan Sunny which has been a catalyst in lifting company’s image in the Indian auto market with sales showing continuous increase in sales. Apart from the two, Skoda cousin Volkswagen’s Vento has been selling smoothly but the launch of Rapid could damp its sales as both are build on same platform with Skoda Rapid being more stylish. Let’s checkout how these three cars fare against each other on the basis of following factors:-
Skoda Rapid looks the best out of the lot with stylish and premium car stance. The sturdy build and styling of Skoda Rapid is raised by its parallel front grills, front and rear fog lamps, body colored Outside Rear View Mirrors (ORVMs), body colored front and rear bumpers, body colored door handles, attractive alloy wheels/ wheel Covers, roof integrated antenna etc.
The best thing Nissan did was made a completely new car, unlike other carmakers which copy paste their existing model designs. The tempting front fascia with cone shaped headlamps and elegant grill with Nissan’s logo accentuates the exhilarating character of Sunny. Cool aerodynamic styling with alloy wheels in the top variant contribute to the overall appealing looks of the car.
Volkswagen Vento too has an eye-catchy appearance that can make you crazy enough to grab it. The exteriors of Volkswagen Vento have elegantly designed headlamps, body colored rear view mirrors, crystal clear chrome trimmed fog lamps, body colored door handles, 15 inches alloy wheels, body colored bumpers etc.
In the exterior section it’s undoubtedly, Skoda Rapid with contemporary styling. Sunny gets the second spot and Vento stands at the last.
Cabin of Skoda Rapid has neatly appointed fabric/leather interiors. To avail the passengers with best in class driving experience, the company has crafted this car with premium upholstery. The dash-board of Skoda Rapid is made of fine quality plastics that have also been used in Skoda Fabia and Skoda Laura. The long wheelbase of this car ensures enhanced leg-room, whereas, it’s sufficient width allows three passengers to accommodate on the rear seat quite comfortably.
Innovative technology has been put to use in Nissan Sunny with request sensors on the door for easy opening and high quality material ensure that this vehicle is a no nonsense car. Nissan have stuck to their light grey plastic theme in this sedan as seen in Micra. A mock rear AC controller for the rear passengers ensure that the cool ambience is maintained in the rear as well. A good boot space of 490 liters comes as a compliment with this scintillating Sunny.
Interiors of Volkswagen Vento have proved to be the best in its segments. The capacity and fit & finish showcase the class furnishing of Volkswagen. From the point of comfort, the Vento gives same feel like the Skoda Rapid. Volkswagen Vento caters the passengers with almost same dimensions like the Rapid and has similar legroom and shoulder space.
In the interior section, we rate Nissan Sunny to be more comfortable car with oodles of space inside followed by Vento and Rapid.
