Skoda Fabia VS Volkswagen Polo – The German hatch match (Expert Review)

Volkswagen Group is enjoying the dream run of its subsidies Skoda, Volkswagen, BMW, Audi and Mercedes in the Indian auto market. In the hatchback segment, Volkswagen is doing well with its Polo while its cousin Skoda is struggling to be in the competition with Fabia. Undoubtedly, both the small cars have attracted buyers primarily due to the German brand Volkswagen behind them and then some exotic features in them. Often the buyers are seen confused over which hatch to buy among both these good looking cars. To release some of the pressure we have brought to you a comparison of both Skoda Fabia VS Volkswagen Polo on the basis of following factors:-
Exteriors:-

Scintillating Skoda Fabia is blessed with contemporary styling and has got an upper hand on the existing Fabia with new stylish bumper and projector headlamps. Chromed front grill with Skoda logo nicely tucked in along with the lines and curves are finely placed at right areas with neatly designed overall exterior. The five stroke 15inch alloy wheels present the hatchback with awe-inspiring appearance.

Volkswagen Polo is an eye-catchy two-box from its exteriors as it is bestowed with strong metal sheet that has been well designed. In addition, the front grille, headlights, bumper and stylish VW sign gives it more elegant appearance. However, the rear view of Polo is enchanted by rear bumper, tail lamps, rear wiper, rear washer, rear spoiler and chrome exhaust.

Looks wise, both the cousins are different and adorable. Tough to rate them on exteriors; it’s a 50:50 from our side.

Interiors:-

The alluring variant of Skoda is equally adorable from inside as well. The best-in-class cabin with superior comfort level takes you to a new world of luxury. The inside of the hatchback is blessed with dual tone design along with innovative technology and safety features. The thing which amuses you the most is the multi-textured seat fabrics.

The four stroke steering wheel with Skoda’s emblem in centre looks stunning.
Volkswagen Polo exhibits well mated and trimmed interiors that would make you fall in love with it at the first glance. Moreover, the seating posture of Polo gives you an enhanced level of comforts. The front and rear cabins have sufficient space to stretch legs and the height of this car can accommodate even a tall passenger easily.

We rate Skoda Fabia’s interiors slightly better than that of Volkswagen Polo.
