Hyundai Eon is speculated to come powered by 814 cc, 3 – cylinder, petrol engine in the Indian market that is expected to toss maximum power of 55 bhp at 5500 rpm and peak torque of 76.5 Nm at 4000 rpm. The chassis of Hyundai Eon will be supported by Independent McPherson Strut Suspension front suspensions and Torsion Beam Suspensions rear suspensions. In terms of performance, Hyundai Eon will be a better option than Tata Nano. Hyundai Eon would be able to cross speed limit of 0 – 100 km/h in a short time span of 17 seconds with the top speed being 130 kmph.
Small but calibrate, Tata Nano is powered by a 624 cc, 2-cylinder MPFI petrol engine that allows this little wonder to toss maximum power of 35 bhp at 5,250 rpm and peak torque of 48 Nm at 3000 rpm. The engine of Tata Nano is mated by a 4 speed manual transmission which is bit notchy.

In comparison to Hyundai Eon, Tata Nano has a better fuel economy. The 0.6 liter petrol engine of Tata Nano gives phenomenal fuel economy of 22 kmpl in city conditions and 26 kmpl on highways.
On the verge of launch, the Eon is expected to be come in the price range of Rs. 2.5 lakhs and Rs. 3.5 lakhs. Although, the exact quotes of Hyundai Eon are not yet out in the market, but its bookings are open.
