Ford Ecosport will be sporting a 1.0 litre direct-injected, turbocharged petrol engine belonging to Ecoboost engine family. Its size has been kept smaller to get more mileage along with a special "split cooling" system to reduce the warming of the engine and thus reduce the fuel consumption due to excess heat.
