Is it fine to install CNG kit in car? Should I go ahead for it, will it be fine? Is there any potential harm to the car in doing this?

It will take up your entire boot space and the power will get a bit lowered, if you are fine with these, CNG will do fine, but yes, CNG filling centres aren't available everywhere, so the filling can cause you trouble.

It depends on your car type. If it is already a very under-powered one, it will not be a good idea to have it converted and the conversion makes the car go under-powered and an already under-powered vehicle will obviously be not work well. Other than that nothing else should bother you.
