I own a Swift though it is two years old and the new version offers many more features and is more advanced yet my old car never got me into any trouble. So, I can bet on the better performance of Swift over i20. Well, I don't have any enmity with i20 nor I think it to be a bad car, it is also a good choice but Swift is specially built for the city roads and Indian traffic, you can easily handle the gears and speed and it is always a fun to drive Swift which I don't think i20 to be offering.

i20 would be a better choice though its top end variant will cost you more than Swift but it comes with plenty of wonderful features and is very comfortable inside with lots of room.
